Getting Here
Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) is the main international hub. The Arlanda Express train runs direct to Stockholm Central Station in just 20 minutes, departing every 10–15 minutes.
The T-bana is clean, easy, and frequent. The church is a short walk from Rådhuset on the Red Line. A 24-hour SL travel card gives unlimited travel across metro, bus, and tram.
Multiple bus routes stop at Kungsholmstorg, a short stroll from the church. Tram line 7 connects Djurgården with the city centre and is a lovely way to travel on the day.
Uber and Bolt operate throughout Stockholm. For traditional taxis use Taxi Stockholm or Taxi Kurir — always check for the official fare label on the rear window.
Stockholm is beautifully bike-friendly in summer. Donkey Republic and Voi e-bikes are available across the city via app. Many routes follow scenic waterfront paths.
Djurgårdslinjen ferries connect Slussen and Djurgården across the harbour — a charming and scenic alternative to land transport, running throughout the day in summer.
While You're Here
History & Old Town
The beating heart of Stockholm — wander cobblestone alleys, visit the Royal Palace, and discover medieval squares. Perfect for an afternoon stroll before the wedding.
Museum
Home to the world's only preserved 17th-century warship. An extraordinary experience unlike anything else — plan at least two hours and book tickets in advance.
Music & Pop Culture
An interactive celebration of Sweden's most iconic band, located on the island of Djurgården. Great fun and easy to combine with the Vasa Museum next door.
Photography & Art
World-class contemporary photography in a stunning waterfront building. The rooftop restaurant offers panoramic views over the harbour — ideal for a pre-dinner drink.
Nature & Parks
A lush royal island park — the green lung of Stockholm. Hire a bike, picnic by the water, or simply wander through the trees. Magical on a summer's day.
Local Secret · View
Stockholm's highest natural point and a beloved local spot — no crowds, sweeping panoramic views, and especially magical at golden hour. Worth every step of the climb.
Food & Market
A beautiful 19th-century market hall filled with Swedish delicacies, artisan cheeses, and fresh seafood. A wonderful place to sample local produce and grab lunch.
On the Water
Stockholm sits on 14 islands — see the city from the water on a canal tour, or head out into the archipelago for an afternoon among thousands of pine-covered islands.
